Don’t Zone Out!
School supplies are being gathered. Maybe a new outfit. There’s that smell of erasers and jitters in the air. Students, teachers, parents and commuters will be sharing the same space at the same time. This is not the time for you to zone out!
Because children are unpredictable with their darting and leaping and skipping, the school zone is also the danger zone. Your car is is all but invisable to them because their minds are on their class, their friends, their darting and leaping. Keep your mind on the drive and the kids. Commit to putting away the cell phone. Surely you can manage a few minutes without it.
Look out – don’t zone out!
